The entire team at Boots on the Ground Maui is proud to announce the launch of a non-profit organization dedicated to helping rebuild Maui after the tragic fires that devastated the Maui community a short week ago. Starting a non profit is not easy and we need as much help as we can get. Keep reading to learn how you can support us in our efforts to ensure the rebuilding of West Maui addresses the housing crisis that has been growing over the past few decades.
What is Boots on the Ground Maui?
With the recent tragedy of the Lahaina fires which completely destroyed historic Lahaina Town and surrounding neighborhoods, the team behind Boots on the Ground Maui quickly sprung into action to raise money from their network to get needed essentials to those who lost everything.
From these efforts, we assembled a non-profit organization to better serve both the community and the donors that are contributing to aid in rebuilding. We envision a Maui where every member of our community feels empowered to contribute to its continued growth and prosperity. Boots on the Ground Maui is here to unite us in making a lasting impact to help families get back on their feet.

Super job you guys.
Kim, I think you sent an email which I no longer can find. Anyway this is Laura I was the VP of The Hive a fire and recovery non-profit located in Northern CA after the Butte fire in Calaveras county in 2015. Anyway I have sent your information on to the President of the non-profit and she would be able to share a boatload of information and forms.
Send me your email again and I will see if I still have some of the forms and information in my files.
I am so, so sadden that this tragedy has befallen only Lahalina
Aloha Laura,
Thank you so much for reaching out and that is so wonderful of you to pass my information to the President of the non-profit. I would love to connect, and thank you for your sentiments. It is going to be a slow long marathon as I’m sure you know to rebuild our community and I’m very thankful for people like you that help us grow the network so we can better serve our community.
